My kids' school is AWESOME!

Our kids attend Julius Marks Elementary (this year). The teachers and staff are friendly. Everything is so new it's hard to draw conclusions, but we like what we've seen so far. I like the monthly reading requirements (kids pick their own book within a genre and do a summary and project). Nice video club. Gifted program seems awfully focused on math. (Not that I dislike math; it's just my eldest is a word man and I'd like to see more work with reading, comprehension and linking multiple subjects through themes or projects.)
